Elsa is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (C-FNP). She has been in the medical profession since 2004 and has been with familyfirst since 2013, where patients describe her as kind, thorough and conscientious.
To familyfirst, she brings extensive nursing experience. She was employed at two major hospitals in the area as a medical, surgical and telemetry nurse. Previously she was with AVORS Medical Group, a large orthopedic and rehabilitation practice, where she handled all aspects of patient care in musculoskeletal disorders, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations.
At familyfirst, Elsa works closely with Dr. Susan Nasser and patients, including babies, children, adolescents, adults and seniors — from pediatrics to geriatrics. She also performs the important task of educating patients about preventative care.
Elsa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN) from California State University in Northridge, California. She earned her master’s degree in nursing (MSN) from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Elsa, who is from the Antelope Valley, is fluent in English and Spanish.
Elsa is the recipient of a 2014 “Shining Star” certificate, which she received in recognition of outstanding job performance from the medical group.
In her spare time, Elsa enjoys reading, Zumba exercising, and spending time with her husband and family. The family is expecting their second child.
