Testosterone and Testosterone Replacement Therapy in Lancaster, California

April 5, 2024

Get your drive back with our hormone replacement therapy

FFFMP and Dr. Sidhu want to help educate the public on solutions to LOW T and therapies that can help you overcome symptoms of Low T.

What is Testosterone?

Testosterone is a male hormone. It is produced inside the testes and is, in large part, responsible for the development of the secondary sexual characteristics that begin manifesting during puberty, such as hair growth, increased muscle mass, deepening voice, lengthening and thickening of the penis, etc.

Testosterone is a hormone which plays a large part in the overall function of the body. It is the hormone that is thought to be behind the driving forces in men’s motivations, desires, goals, muscle and bone strength, libido, personality, mental focus, and drive.  A balanced testosterone level helps men deal with stressful situations more easily and improves moodiness.  Balanced levels also enhance male personalities. Testosterone levels can dip for several reasons and have an impact on the day to day living on those affected.   Low testosterone levels, or Low T, can be the result of many causes. Obesity, stress, chronic illness, and even normal aging can all be contributing factors to low testosterone.

Do you have Symptoms of Low T?

Fatigue                                                       Gaining Weight                                                Mental or Emotional Difficulties

Sexual Difficulties                                     Hair Thinning or loss                                        Weight Gain

Why do I need to have optimal Testosterone?

Although testosterone is the most important sex hormone in men, its role in the body goes much further. Testosterone is involved in emotional balance, the distribution of bone and muscle mass, the accumulation of adipose tissues, libido, and overall general health.

Furthermore, maintaining healthy testosterone levels has been linked to a decreased risk of suffering many cardiovascular diseases. And men with healthy levels of Testosterone enjoy increased lean muscle mass, decreased visceral fat, lower cholesterol, and more balanced glycemic levels.

There are several treatment alternatives for men who have abnormally low testosterone levels and are suffering from adverse effects as a result in the Antelope Valley.  Affected men may resort to distinct lifestyle changes and a few nutritional supplements that are purported to promote testosterone production.   While these supplements can or cannot have a meaningful change to your body, the only clinically proven treatment for low testosterone levels is Hormone Replacement Therapy.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy may take the form of intramuscular injections, transdermal patches and gels, oral and sublingual presentations, and even soft-tissue pellet implants.  Which delivery method is best will be determined on an individual basis by Dr. Sidhu after evaluating each patient’s particular clinical history.

You could see benefits in as little as 24-48 hours once treatment starts.

When used appropriately in men with a confirmed diagnosis of testosterone deficiency, hormone replacement therapy has been shown to cause no serious or lasting adverse side effects.
